Estimate
GET /api/v1/estimate returns the all-in quote and an estimate_id valid for 2 minutes.

Create
POST /api/v1/transactions locks the rate and returns a redirect_url for the hosted checkout.

Checkout
The customer pays by Interac, card or bank transfer, or deposits crypto for sells and swaps.

Webhook
Signed events for every status change, until finished. Custody balances update automatically.
Custody built in. Pass payout_type: "custody" and the crypto lands in a custody account for your customer instead of a wallet. Balances and withdrawals through the same API, for partners approved for custody.

How long does an integration take?+
A hosted link takes minutes, the embedded widget an afternoon, a native API integration about a sprint. Sandbox keys are issued once your application is approved.
Can it match our brand?+
Light and dark themes, four accent colours, your default pair and amount, and the option to hide tabs. Full white-label (your domain for the checkout) is available for live partners on request.
Which assets and payment methods are supported?+
45+ coins across the main networks, 55+ fiat currencies, and Interac e-Transfer, EFT, wire, SEPA, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Alipay and WeChat Pay. The exact list is live on the Currencies page and in the API.
Who handles compliance?+
MaxMerit. Identity verification, transaction monitoring and reporting are done on our side as a Canadian money services business. You never touch customer documents or funds.
How does custody work?+
For partners approved for custody, choose custody as the payout type and the crypto is held in a custody account for your customer. You can read balances and request withdrawals through the API, and your customer sees the balance in your app.
How do we get paid?+
A revenue share on the service fee of every exchange your key creates, reported per transaction in your partner dashboard and settled monthly.
